Of the many things the mabl team has accomplished over the last year, one of the most exciting is our continued growth in Japan. Since partnering with Takahide Masuhara at one of our first Japanese Friends of mabl Piece of Cake in mid-2019, our Japanese customer base has increased by 425% and revenue by nearly 500% while expanding the mabl community in Japan to over 650 members. We also recently welcomed Presidio Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Sumitomo Corporation, as a strategic investor.
VeriServe Corporation is a new reseller partner
Today, we’re proud to continue our dedication to the Japanese market by announcing our new partnership with VeriServe Corporation, the global leader in software verification and validation. A subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, VeriServe will serve as an official mabl reseller in Japan. Like most of mabl’s partnerships in the APAC region, this new alliance sprang from a shared mission to make the lives of software testers easier and their work more impactful as quality engineering gains dominance in high-velocity software development teams.

Our platform is built to support quality software at the speed of DevOps, no matter who’s building it or where. In Japan, customers like Misumi, LOB (Rakuten), Bengo4, Japan Taxi, and Retty have provided valuable feedback on mabl, sharing their thoughts, experiences, and insights with our team as well as other quality professionals. As always, the larger community in Japan has been one of our most important resources as we continue to improve and grow mabl to meet your rapidly changing, critical role in delivering high quality software applications.
With VeriServe and mabl joining forces, the Japanese quality community has access to the combined resources of two organizations deeply invested in making software quality a cornerstone of DevOps.
The road ahead
Though most of the mabl team will likely have to wait a little while longer to return to Japan in person, new users will be able to adopt intelligent software testing through our new partner, VeriServe. We have also recently launched a new Japanese section of mabl documentation, Japanese language version of the mabl blog, and will soon announce Japanese language training for our product, demonstrating our continued focus on our Japanese community.
